Joliet, IL 9/2005
Installation of four (4) 3/4 hour fire doors at their facility in Joliet, IL. Each door was installed with self-closing devices, hinges, magnetic hold-open devices, and panic hardware conforming to egress door requirements. Additionally Lee & Ryan was tasked to install four (4) new openings in masonry walls with four (4) new exit signs installed in stairwell locations to show new openings in the masonry walls. Magnetic hold-open devices were ties into the previous protection system to allow doors to automatically close when a fire is detected. All work was completed so that new installation matched existing building materials seamlessly.
